The United States Ultralight Association (USUA) was formed in 1985. It is a non-profit membership organization dedicated to the representation of ultralight pilots and enthusiasts. The headquarters is located in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. USUA staff, Board of Directors, and members share a commitment to protect, promote, and represent their sport.

All of our Systems are designed with a specific use in mind, to be used on Experimental and Ultralight aircraft. Over the years we have listened to our customer’s suggestions and tried to give them what they ask for. Our designs take into consideration 5 important things. They are BRIGHTNESS, FLASH RATE, WEIGHT, POWER CONSUMPTION and LONGEVITY of the system. All of these things are of equal importance.
